Pinata strikes back!
Feb. 28th, 2006 08:04 amI talked to kt about my pinata needs yesterday. She thinks I should make it, because the need to makes something so weird obviously means that something interesting or wonderful will occur as a result of its creation. She watches too many movies.
I think that in my mind I have this image of the perfect pinata -- and that when I've finally finished it there will be nothing but pinata disappointment.
See: she's the positive thinker and I'm the negative.
So what should I do? I leave it up to the will of the people!
[Poll #681753]
(see this is what happens when I really really don't want to write a conclusion)

My second favorite movie is Royal Tenenbaums. Its a fantastic and weird flick. I watched it again the other day, which led me to wonder about Wes Anderson's other films. Just watched Bottle Rocket and Rushmore for the first time. Bottle Rocket was pretty amazing in its own weird little way; Rushmore was just as funny as I thought it would be. I think I liked Bottle Rocket better than Rushmore.
Tenenbaums, still the best.
Odd fact: in each of these there's a shot of characters underwater, with the number increasing in each additional movie (Bottle Rocket 1 - Tenenbaums 3).
Weird.
