10 Days

The family got back on a plane late last night. It was really great having them here. We got to relax a little after how tense the end of school was. Now, with the move happening next week, we get to be tense all over again.

Pat takes his driver's test today. Everybody cross your fingers.

Hopefully some packing and move related stuff happens today. There's a lot to do. Need to pack rooms full of stuff, lots of books, clothes, stuff. Need to sort through stuff, get rid of stuff. Also need to get through all those moving details: change of address, change all the magazines over, empty the fridge, call all the various utilities to stop them, get oil change for car, etc, etc.

But right now it's quiet. Pat and Kage are asleep (and both very cute). For living in the middle of Boulder, with three major roads all around, it's peaceful and quiet. Birdies singing. The cat's water fountain is almost a water feature.

Ok, yeah, I should stop rambling now.

Hopefully I'll get some pics up from their visit soon. The cable for my digital camera disapeared when we cleaned up, so I haven't been able to look at my photos or upload them yet.
