Short version of the story: fainted at work. Hit my head on something, prolly the floor. Also hurt my knee somehow. Co-workers found me, made me go to the hospital. Five or six hours later, discharged and came home, with nothing apparently wrong with me.
Fine now. Have a red spot in the middle of my hairline where there was a larger bump. My knee doesn't look bruised, but it still hurts at random times, with no clear pattern. Arm hurts where they drew blood.
It was hard disentangling things to answer questions. I have a bad cold, which makes me tired and unhungry and vaguely dizzy. The night before I took some Nyquil, which lasts a very long time in my system and makes my eyes dilate and my head light-headed. I got the feeling that they didn't really believe me when I told them this.
This morning my one eye feels slightly funny, the left one, on the side where I fell. My vision seems ok, though.
[Hil and Pat are awesome by the way. They stayed with me at the hospital and made sure I got home ok. It must have been mind-numbingly boring.]
