Just got home from work, not too long ago. Did an overnight of stuff. Ran later than I thought it would. I'm supposed to go back to work at 5pm, but I don't think I'm going to make it. I've reached a stage where I'm stuck vaguely awake and unable to sleep. When 4pm rolls around and it's time to leave for work again...I will be in a sorry state. I don't want to leave things unfinished at work; I'm really bothered by it and want to finish. But I can't justify getting in a car accident or something. I'd be at work from 5pm till close, which means walking back in my door around 10:30pm. Then I have work again tomorrow at 9am. It's funny saying tomorrow at this point, it still seems like it should be the day after tomorrow.
It doesn't help that it's a beautiful morning, with lots of chirpy birds and humming insects. I think I will take out my contacts and listen to podcasts until NPR drones me into unconsciousness. Sounds like a plan.
