Jun. 2nd, 2010 08:44 pmI am testing out recipes for summer -- things that are cool/cold, or don't need to be heated, or can be made ahead of time and then eaten at room temp.
Today I made chocolate covered frozen bananas, half rolled in crushed honey roasted peanuts. They were good and I have a list of future improvements (milk chocolate, thinner coat of chocolate, finer crush of peanuts).
Fire-side food. Can be pulled from the freezer and thawed a little bit, then presented to people around a fire.
