most expensive rocky night yet
Dec. 1st, 2007 05:30 am[I post this mainly because I find it funny -- I don't mean this to sound like whining at all.}
Tonight *should* have been the cheapest rocky yet. There were no parkway or turnpike tolls to pay. This theater is the shortest distance from our house, so even the gas cost was less.
But, yeah, it was the exact opposite.
Parking garage attached to the theater was a pay to park lot (expensive too). We got our ticket validated for four hours off, but the machine didn't accept that at all. So we had to pay $11.77 to get out of the lot.
Then we went around the corner and parked on the street to go to the diner. Didn't notice the sign that said no parking after 2am. This resulted in a $47 ticket.
Net Cost: almost 60 bucks.
This really sucks coming on the heels of Pat getting laid off and me not having a job. And all that Giftmas jazz coming up.
Besides the money issue, it was a pretty good show I thought. *I* had fun at least, which was nice.
