Been Eventful

I've had an eventful couple of days now.

Yesterday I ate two great meals and got to see some amazing animals -- foxes and coyotes and goats and chickens. Some day I will have chickens in my backyard and eggs.

The food was great and amazing, made by Hil's new beau (who we happen to know through Blue Star as well).

Today we babysat the tyke and company while the community had an important meeting. Then I had a meeting of my own with the GoGers.

Pat managed to empty out another box from our pile of boxes -- hurrah.

Also managed to plant some stuff on our windowsill. Mint from seed and basil and catnip plants. Millie can't decide what she thinks about the plants, she keeps nosing around them, questioning.

I've taken to sleeping a lot again, going to bed earlier and earlier. It's hard. There are only so many hours I can be awake before I just shut down. Too much light, too many people, too much noise. Just being conscious is too much. I need silence and shadows and a quiet book.

Anyways, some good days.
