I think it would depend on how spontaneous it was. Astronauts aren't really prepared to fight on a moment's notice, most of the time, whereas having to fight for your life at the drop of a hat would have been normal for a caveman. If things escalated quickly enough, I think the caveman would win. If the astronauts had time to plan and get ready, then technology would certainly make a huge difference.

Cavemen. Modern people have too many reserves as to what is decent or what is brutal. Cavemen would just do what they need to in order to survival, no existential crisis to deal with.
