sleepymaggieLast night I went and saw the band Nanuchka -- who I liked a lot. They reminded me in some ways of Devotchka and in some ways of Gogol Bordello. You should go to their site and listen to the tunes.
In other news I seem to be more in control of my sleep cycle than ever before. I managed to leave my house after 11pm last night -- something that would have been absolutely impossible this time last year. I stayed at the bar for several hours, listening to music and didn't fidget or fall asleep. Sat through three bands and my attention span didn't waver.
Tonight we're going to see Rocky again. Hopefully this newfound ability to stay awake will work there too.
